A woman,Mrs. Adetsav, wiped out her family over an altercation she had with her husband. Mrs Adetsav committed suicide in Makurdi, Benue state capital yesterday night after killing her husband and three children.
A resident at Vandeikya Street in the state capital where the incident occured hinted that the action may have followed the altercation between the woman and her husband as the windshields of the vehicle belonging to her husband was also smashed.
Nicholas Adetsav was an administrative staff of the local government service commission. The bodies have been deposited at St. Theresa’s Mortuary, Makurdi for autopsy, the Benue State Police Command PRO, ASP Moses Yamu, said
“Meanwhile, the commissioner has ordered full investigation to unravel the circumstances behind the murder of the family,” Yamu told our reporter.
